Artist's Comments

Someone set up this marker up on the beach near the cottage. The water was in quite far last weekend - I've been going there since 2005 and I've never seen it this high. Anyway, the pool in the foreground was created by the high tide, and I'm guessing someone put this makeshift landmark there to mark where the water had been.

that looks breathtaking. i've always loved the beach and the oceans/waters. it's so calming and relaxing. i just can't get enough. this is beautiful!!

It's quite a relaxing place, that's one of the reasons I love going there. Other beaches, near where we live, are usually crowded, but this sand beach is usually pretty empty, so you can just stroll down the sand as you like.

lucky. i don't live close to a beach. i go to one every year but thats like 3-4 hours away. i love the beach, its the only place i feel relaxed and at home

There's two near here that are about half an hour away, but like I said, they're too crowded to be very relaxing.
